You may be asking yourself why you should choose outdoor advertising over other media, or incorporate it into your media mix. Well, wonder no more. We've compiled the facts, and they speak for themselves.
Not only is outdoor advertising the most cost effective advertising medium, but it reaches people on their way to make and spend money. It's often the last thing people see before pulling off the road to make a purchase.
According to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, 90% of American households own vehicles, and Americans are spending more time on the road than ever before. What does that translate to? Less time watching TV, less time reading the newspaper, and more exposure to billboards.
Outdoor advertising can't be turned off or thrown away. It will deliver your message 7 days a week, 365 days a year, giving you unmatched repetition. Billboards will deliver your message with continuity and frequency, rain or shine, that is unequaled by other forms of advertising.
Almost every person in the country can be reached by outdoor advertising. Simply put, it's time to go outdoors!

When Highway Displays was founded in 1921, all of our signs were hand painted by a small group of talented artists. Ninety years later, thanks to advances in technology, the process has become cheaper, quicker, and more efficient. Today, Highway Displays maintains two different types of advertising spaces: Posters and Bulletins.
Posters are printed on multiple sheets of poster paper and are applied to the billboard's surface in pieces. All Poster boards are approximately 10' x 24' and are sold on a monthly basis.
Bulletins, formerly hand painted signs, are printed on a single sheet of vinyl and wrapped around the billboard's frame. They vary in size from 10' x 16' to 24' x 100'. Bulletins are sold on a yearly basis.
The monthly cost of our signs range from $500 to almost $3,000. Price is determined by size, lights, and location.
An additional one-time printing and installation charge is applied to all signs. The cost of poster printing varies depending on your final artwork. Bulletin printing and installation is $3.25 per square foot.
Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about specific billboards.

These days many of our customers choose to design their own artwork. However, in case you don't have a marketing team at your disposal or a degree in graphic design, let us guide you through the process. We have an in-house graphic designer who can work with you if you're struggling for ideas. He's been with Highway Displays for over 25 years, helping to design hundreds of successful ads over the last quarter century.
However, if you are interested in proceeding on your own, we've included some sample billboard designs, as well as some tricks of the trade to help keep you on the path to success.
Just in case you're wondering where to begin, we've gathered a few examples of recent artwork. Both posters and bulletins have been included. Click images to enlarge.
